Our Mission

At The Wealthness Collective, our mission is to practice an ethical, trauma-informed, and liberatory alternative to traditional financial services.

We support queer, polyamorous, BIPOC, and system-impacted individuals and families in reimagining their relationship with wealth, not through shame, hustle, or fear, but through care, clarity, and community.

Our work integrates financial strategy, emotional care, and social justice to support both personal healing and collective well-being. We focus on cultivating self-trust, confidence, and holistic Wealthness through free educational workshops, DIY resources, group and 1:1 coaching, and values-aligned investment advising.

Every offering centers consent and equity, designed to create safety and support, not obligation or pressure.

Our Vision

We envision a world where wealth wellness is:

  • Healing, not a quick fix
  • Accessible, not exclusive
  • Rooted in community, not individualism

In this world, money becomes a tool for belonging, repair, and shared sustainability, not control or accumulation. Wealth flows collectively rather than being hoarded by the few.

Our vision is a future where queer, trans, BIPOC, and system-impacted communities have the resources, rest, and agency to reclaim power through values-aligned financial ecosystems.

By living this vision in practice, The Wealthness Collective models what becomes possible when liberation and sustainability coexist, proving that anti-capitalist business practices can thrive without exploitation.

Our Founder

Mike Poulin (he/him) is a trauma-informed financial coach and the founder of The Wealthness Collective. He supports queer, polyamorous, BIPOC, and system-impacted individuals in building values-aligned wealth with care, clarity, and autonomy.

With over six years of experience and more than 500 clients served, Mike’s work centers on navigating financial stress, job loss, systemic barriers, and the emotional weight money carries.

He is a Trauma of Money Method™ Certified Practitioner and currently a graduate student in Counseling Psychology, integrating evidence-based therapeutic tools, motivational interviewing, and his five-pillar Wealthness Framework to support healing and sustainable financial change.

Through work in community organizations, credit unions, and the military, Mike has learned that people thrive when they feel safe, respected, and met in their lived realities. His practice is rooted in liberation, collective well-being, and the belief that everyone deserves access to dignified, shame-free wealth care.
